Garage Brain Science (GBS)

Dr. I-F Wang and Dr. H-Y Chang pioneered a breakthrough approach to unraveling the prion-like mechanism of low complexity disease-causing proteins in conformational diseases and normal aging. Their research led to the discovery of potential first oral drugs for functional restorations of misfolded disease proteins.

Following their co-founding of Garage Brain Science, they now collaborate with NIH, INSERM, and NTUH on biomarker discovery and new drug development. Additionally, Dr. C-H Ting brings vital expertise, having been involved in generating the first SMA disease mouse model.
